Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 7:07 pm by Daniel Bedford

Hey skydivers! The weather is cooling down, but don’t worry because we are still jumping. And will be all year! But if want to come this weekend while it’s still nice, email me your name, what day you want to go, the type of jump you want, your number, and if you can drive. I’ll get you skydiving!

Hope to hear from you! Blue skies!

Well, with the server down we didn’t have the biggest turn-out ever. Actually we might have had the lowest ever for October. Congratulations to Cristina Pieracci for completing her first tandem skydive. Also, congratulations to Yanyan Ren-Qiu for completing the static line first jump course. Great job you two! If you are not aware we have a fierce competition among some of the more experience jumpers to see who will be the first to be licensed! Good luck!

Advanced Informational Meeting

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 12:32 am by Falling Illini

Hey skydivers, it’s time for another informational meeting.  The meeting will be next Monday at 6PM in Noyes 217.  That’s the 15th of October. Since a lot of you are well on your way to your A license, we will be discussing the progression, requirements, and getting your card filled out.  We will be going over the steps you should be taking, as well as showing videos of check dives.  If you are interested in getting your license I would recommend the meeting for questions, tips, and other information from those who have experienced it.

I would also like to take some time to talk with the club about National Skydiving Collegiates and money expenditures at the meeting.  If it is your first time and you would like to come out and learn more, we would love to have you as well, and will be happy to answer your questions.

See you on Monday at 6PM in Noyes 217. Thanks, Daniel
