The weather looks good for this weekend, so if you’d like to jump, let me know your name, number, what type of jump you want to do and if you can drive. This weekend we’ll wrap up the April Showers contest and announce the winner afterward. I know everyone is cramming for the end of term, but there’s no better way of blowing off steam than jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
Finally the weather we’ve all been waiting for is here. The forecast for this weekend is warm and sunny. Perfect for skydiving. If you’d like to take advantage of the sun and make some jumps, let me know. I’ll need your name, number, if you can drive, and what type of jump you want to do if it is your first one. We’ll probably have groups going both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, since it’s so nice, so let me know which day you’re interested in. A few people have been really gung-ho about the April Showers contest, but it’s still an open race.
We’ve had a bunch of jumping going on recently, and I’d like to give a hand to all the International Illini that came out to make their first jump with us the past couple of weeks: Martin Swoboda, Christian Aillon, Felix Pflaum, Martha Henkile, Vincent Weiss, Sarah Gleisner, Alexandre Govlet, Silvio Tannert, Jan Nottmeier, Paige Bovard, Katie Healey, Takashi Nishimura, Kyoko Kawashima, Pong Wee Yeo, and Paul Wang. Also first jump shout-outs go to Fumitaka Sugiguchi, Vysali Soundararajan, Daniella De Prizio, Jami Cizma, Steffen Ahrens, Daniela Sorger, Christoph Greilberger, Peter Rieger, Matthias Felsberger, Muhamad Jamaludin, Nurul Yahya, Kevin Solecki, Donald To, and Jennifer Linsermeyer. Finally, give it up for Aaron VanDevender (hey, that’s me!) for getting his C-License.

The weather isn’t the greatest for this weekend, but Sunday should be jumpable. If you’d like to make a skydive or two this weekend, let me know you name, number and what sort of jump you want to do.
Our big plane, the Caravan, has returned from its winter home in Las Vegas, and so we can make lots of big-way formation jumps again. Now that things are warming up, I want it to be raining Falling Illini from the Heavens this month, so we’re sponsoring a little contest: April Showers. I’m giving $150 in jump money to the student that makes the most skydives during the month of April. Good luck and when the green light turns on: Jump!
If you’d like to jump this weekend, let me know your name, number, type of jump, and if you can drive.
