Somehow it is the weekend already. These weeks just keep flying by. There are only a few more weeks in the semester so lets all try to get out and do some jumping. Once again this week I will be heading down on Sunday. This means if you plan on going saturday, let me know if you have a car. Besides that, we are keeping this one short. Hope to see a lot of people out this weekend.

Last weekend was awesome. I believe we had about 18 people come down and jump. We need to try to get that many people every weekend! For all of you that missed out, this weekend is looking to be another beautiful one. Both days are looking clear and warm. I plan on heading down on Sunday this week. If you want to go on Saturday or are planning on it, I need to know who can possible drive.

Now that it is getting warm and towards the end of the school year I am sure a lot of people are going to start coming out. Here are some things that we all need to remember:

-This is an all day event. We like to stay after jumping is done and hang out. Plan on the whole day. Do not get discouraged if you’re sitting around, the people are nice and you can always learn something.
-The drop zone is getting busy. For everyone looking to do those tandem jumps before the end of the year or graduation, Archway needs to be called to make reservations and to put down a deposit.
-This links the last two together, tandems to not take very long, so if you have to sit around for a while and enjoy the nice people while you wait for a plane, or a ride home, think of it as an opportunity to meet new, crazy people, NOT as a waste of your time.
-Last, but not least…. As of yesterday, gas prices are almost $3.00 Please consider this when you are getting a ride from someone. We have asked that you give at least $5.00, but just keep it in mind.

The Skydiving season has officially begun!!!! (Not that it ever stops for us) The last two weeks have been sunny and beautiful. This weekend looks to be even more amazing. They are calling for highs in the upper 80’s and sunny!!! I can not think of a single good reason not to be jumping. Easter smeaster, you can see your family this summer. I am heading down on Saturday and I think Aaron said he is going on Sunday. Let me know who all wants to go, and if you have a car LET ME KNOW! I am pretty sure there will be a lot of people and I am going to need to know who can help drive if need be. See you all this weekend.

Once again out the window it is raining and we have chance of more strong storms coming through. However, this weekend is supposed to be another weekend for jumping. If the weather is not enough of an incentive, the Corrin’s Birthday Boogie should be. For all of the experienced jumpers there will be $18 jumps, and for every one else good times. It is sure to be lots of fun all day long. I plan on heading down on Saturday, and coming home rather late.

We had a lot of people go down last week and take the first jump course as well as two returning students to continue their training. Also, CONGRADUATIONS to Phil Makotyn for getting his A-License on Saturday!
