It looks like this weekend is going to be nice and sunny and relatively warm (compared to last weekend). If you would like to make a jump this weekend, send me an email and we’ll get you in the air.

There may be a tornado warning right now until 8pm tonight, but that does not mean that this weekend is off. Granted it does mean it will be a little colder after it all passes, but cold doesnt scare us. I am actually planning on heading down again this weekend, since I will not be going next weekend. My dad was nice enough to ask me to go skiing with him, so THANK YOU DAD!!!! Anyhow, let me know who wants to go.

Skydiving 2/11 2/12 and World Record 400-way

Thursday, February 9th, 2006 12:14 pm by Aaron VanDevender

I am putting together a skydiving trip for this weekend. It’s going to be cold and possibly snowing on Saturday, but that just makes for softer landings on Sunday, which looks like it is going to be clear. If you would like to go, shoot me an email.

In other skydiving news, a new world record was just set for the largest skydiving formation in Thailand yesterday with 400 skydivers. Unfortunately, none of the Falling Illini were able to attend. Maybe next time.

Alright, well the weather looks better than it did last week, so we will be trying to go. I am heading down on saturday, and I know one other person is as well. Let me know if anyone wants to go. Also, on Monday in the Union we will have a booth at the aviation career fair. If you will be there, make sure you stop by and say hello. Hope to see you all soon.
