Things to expect on a jump day
Posted Friday, August 26th, 2005 at 6:36 pm by BradFor anyone going down with us tomorrow, or for anyone who will ever go jumping with us, here are some things to know about jump day.
First off, if you are going to be getting a ride from someone, please bring at least $5 dollars to pay the driver for gas. With gas prices the way they are these days it can really cut into jumping money of the people that are driving.
We meet in front of the Union at 7:45am and depart no later than 8am
Also, bring money for lunch and dinner. Most days we are down there the whole day and don’t get back to late. Which brings up my next point. Expect it to be an all day event. There might be someone coming home early, but most of us like to stay down and party a bit after the jump day.
What to wear you ask. Tennis shoes are pretty much the only thing that should be on your feet. They are comfortable and the best fit for what you will be doing. Other than that, just where comfortable clothes that are suitable for the temperature.
Anything else, you know how to get a hold of me.

Or if you want to save more money for jumping (or beer) bring a lunch with you. Just don’t save money by not chipping in towards gas.

Tom, you keep way too close an eye on how much you spend jumping.

I’m going to try and make an archway trip the weekend of the 16th of oct. maybe i can see some of you people down there!
